Leni Tupper, JD

Alena (Leni) A. Tupper is the founder and Executive Director of the CLEAR Clinic, a free legal clinic based in Portland, Oregon, providing court record relief, housing justice, and immigration justice legal services. Leni is also part-time faculty in the PCC Paralegal Program, teaching the program's only paralegal courses for incarcerated students in Oregon. 

Leni is committed to providing legal services strategically targeted at reducing barriers to success for Oregonians, as well as to helping develop a legal community that reflects and respects the communities we serve. 

Leni has collaborated with a wide variety of stakeholders to provide a thoughtful, community-centered vision for the Clinic. Leni is committed to increasing access to justice in Oregon and reducing the footprint of systems of oppression. Leni tries to use her privilege to walk with community members in the struggle toward liberation. Leni grew up in Northeast Portland and is proud to serve her local community.
