Victims of hate and bias crimes in Oregon can obtain no-cost general legal advice regarding their rights in connection with criminal case investigation and prosecution. The website was created, maintained, and supported by the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) and Pro Bono Net.

Victims of hate or bias crimes in Oregon can fill out a short questionnaire to find out if they are eligible. Eligible individuals can ask a question about the situation that involved hate or bias. After a question is submitted and approved, pre-screened volunteer attorneys can select it and provide free brief written legal advice in response. People who do not meet the requirements will be unable to ask a question and will be directed to other information and resources.
