Kelly Jones, JD

Kelly Donovan Jones has been a practicing Oregon attorney since 2007, after obtaining his J.D. from Willamette University School of Law. 

He operates his own solo law practice in SE Portland, but often partners with other firms, principally as a member of the Underdog Law Group, overseeing case assessment, legal analysis, motions practice, and acting as chief appellate counsel.

Kelly is a civil litigator with a focus on consumer protection, civil rights, and class actions. His advocacy includes drafting legislation, public outreach and education, and pro bono appellate work. Over the years, Kelly has authored numerous legal articles and BarBooks chapters and has presented on a wide variety of consumer law and civil litigation topics. 

Kelly is a proud member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the latter of which awarded him with its 2022 Rising Star Award.
