Metropolitan Public Defender, Community Law Division - Eviction Prevention Program
Metropolitan Public Defender's Community Law Division helps undo the damage done by an imbalanced criminal justice system by reducing social stigma, increasing economic and housing opportunities, and stabilizing families.
The Community Law Division's Eviction Prevention Program provides information, legal advice, and limited legal representation to people who have received a termination notice from their landlord or who are dealing with an eviction cases. To be eligible for services, clients must be at or below 80% of the Average Median Income (AMI).
