Southern Oregon Facilitation Initiative (SOFI)
Southern Oregon Facilitation Initiative (SOFI) is a free service of the Oregon Judicial Department (OJD) that provides information and assistance to self-represented people navigating family law cases. SOFI services are offered remotely by phone and video.
Southern Oregon Facilitation Initiative (SOFI) provides free information and assistance, including document review, for people involved in family law cases so that they can meaningfully participate in court. Facilitators may also help with court forms in restraining order cases.
Family law facilitators are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice.
Services are provided remotely, by phone and video, and available through shared resources in Baker, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Grant, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake and Malheur Counties.
