Oregon Law Center created and maintains this comparison chart, which was last updated in January 2025. It was created for lawyers, domestic violence advocates, facilitators, and other legal navigators. 

If you are interested in applying for a restraining order, you can get free help from a domestic violence advocate in Oregon. Advocates can provide information on Oregon restraining orders, help you with the application process, and provide referrals to other services.
