Roadmap to Recovery

Roadmap to Recovery® by United Policyholders provides free guidance and tools for people, businesses, and communities recovering from disasters. It includes:

• A Recovery Toolkit (Disaster Recovery Handbook, inventory guide, organizer)
• Help with insurance claims, including tips, sample letters, state-specific legal FAQs, and information on resolving disputes
• A peer-support network (“Survivors to Survivor”), + “Ask an Expert” forum to connect with professionals and experienced survivors
• Workshops, training for case managers and legal aid, and long-term recovery services where possible

United Policyholders is a nonprofit program that does not accept insurance company funding and works to help policyholders understand their rights, navigate paperwork, and rebuild after loss.
