Legal Aid Services of Oregon Portland Regional Office - Senior Law Project
Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO) is a nonprofit organization working to achieve justice for the low-income communities of Oregon by providing a full range of civil legal help. Senior Centers across Multnomah County partner with LASO to help seniors (60 and older) or anyone married to a senior get their legal questions answered.
The Senior Law Project provides free 30-minute meetings with volunteer attorneys to seniors (aged 60 and older), regardless of income, at several Multnomah County senior centers. Attorneys help clients with civil legal issues including simple wills and powers of attorney, consumer matters, and housing problems.
If you are low-income, you may qualify for additional free legal help. If you are not financially eligible for ongoing help and wish to hire a volunteer attorney, you can speak with them directly about their fees.
