What do I do when I receive a letter from ODHS about a SNAP overpayment?

What is an overpayment?

An overpayment is when the State pays a person too much. It’s often a mistake. Either on ODHS’s part, or if you forgot to report a change in your living situation.

If you did not report a change in your living situation on purpose, this is considered fraud (explained more below).  You should immediately report any changes in your living situation. This includes changes in your income, members in your household, employment status.
