Restraining Orders in Oregon

If you're trying to leave an abusive situation, a restraining can be a powerful tool to help you stay safe. A restraining order (or "protective order") is a legal document from a court that tells someone to stay away from you and stop contacting you. If the other person doesn't follow your restraining order, you can call the police for help.
