Guide to Farmworkers' Rights and Protections

As a farmworker in Oregon, you may face challenges like unsafe working conditions or not receiving the wages you're owed. Understanding your rights is the first step to protecting yourself and your family.

While we work to expand our articles on this topic, you can explore the "Haga Valer Sus Derechos" bulletin. Created and updated annually by the Legal Aid Services of Oregon and Oregon Law Center Farmworker Programs, this guide explains the legal protections for farmworkers in Oregon. It is designed for immigrant farmworkers, but legal aid providers, advocacy groups, and social service staff may also find it useful.

Image is the cover of the "Haga Valer Sus Derechos" bulletin. It Has that title at the top, and an image of a man standing with his arm on the shoulders of a woman sitting net to him. Additional text says "Free & confidential legal help" and "2024/2025" and "All workers ALWAYS have the right to be paid correctly and ON TIME regardless of their legal status! We help farmworkers know their rights!"
