CSU - Client Services Unit

The Client Services Unit (CSU) of the Oregon Health Authority provides information, referral and assistance resolving problems regarding medical coverage, the Oregon Health Plan, and billing problems. The toll-free number is 1-800-273-0557.

Emergency Medical Care for Non-Citizens (CAWEM)

The Citizen Alien Waived Emergent Medical (CAWEM) program provides coverage for medical emergencies (life threatening) and the birth of a child if you are low income, but not a US citizen. Call 1-800-359-9517 to apply.

Governor's Advocacy Office (Ombudsman)

The Governor's Advocacy Office at the Department of Human Services is part of the Department's Director's Office and serves as the Ombudsman for the Department's programs and services. The Children's Ombudsman is also located in this office.
